Jack Scott, Glyndwr University, Great Britain:

"The competition is a great opportunity for people all over the world to see your work. It is a unique competition with such a right time frame and with no editing allowed it really makes you think and be creative.

Sadly where I live in North Wales it would not stop raining and everyone I knew that could have modelled for me was busy so it was a struggle. A lot of the photos were taken as self portraiture just because I didn't have the time frame to get models together. The one model I did get to photograph outdoors I had to make her lie on the cold wet ground which wasn't fun for her but I'm glad she did it haha. It was really fun to tackle the 10 assignments in such a short space of time which could be quite stressful but makes you be productive and get on with it. I even travelled an hour in the car to visit my Aunty and Uncle in Shrewsbury who had lots of cool objects to photograph for the 'Around the World in 80 Days' and they even have the 'War and Peace' books so it was great to photograph there. It was a very interesting 24 hours and it was a lot of to participate in the competition".
