Minimum fixed salary of an Economist is 500 US dollars, and having become a Financial Director you can figure on 2500-3000 US dollars monthly. And despite all the talk about glut of the market with economists, financial field experts are the most demanded as before.
Having obtained fundamental education and practical skills at Russian-British Institute of Management, the students will learn how to apprehend and apply economic knowledge to practice successfully.
We train not the common economists, but future leaders. The educational programme includes a unique Basic Managerial Competences course. The students are taught Project Management, Strategic Management Fundamentals, and Technology of Effective Communication.
Up-to-date methods (business games, project work), highly skilled professors and participation in project work starting from the very first year of study help the students to become real professionals. Throughout the course of study at RBIM students will implement independent projects: enterprises’ business plans, projects in the sphere of loan and financial policy of organisations.
One cannot build a successful career of an economist without knowledge of Internet Economy. That is why peculiar attention is paid to studying IT in professional activities. The students may choose one of the following specializations: Accounting, Analysis and Auditing, Finance and Credit, Corporate Finance.
Those who have completed any vocational education course/ higher education course may undertake a shortened training programme which lasts for 3 years. 3rd year students may choose one of the following specializations: Economics of Enterprise and Legal Groundwork for Business, Economics (Accounting, Analysis, and Audit), Economics (Finance and Credit).
Year 1: Macroeconomics, Microeconomics;
Year 3: Labour Economics, Business Planning, Taxes and Taxation, Economic Activity Analysis, Currency, Credit and Banks, Finance;
Subjects within Economics of Enterprise specialization: Operations Management, National Economy, Corporate Planning, Cost Management, Business Valuation and Value-Based Company Management.
Subjects within Accounting, Analysis, and Audit specialization: Financial Accounting, Accounting (Financial) Reporting, Auditing, International Standards of Financial Reporting.
Subjects within Finance and Credit specialization: State and Municipal Finance, Banking Business, International Finance, Finance Management, Insurance, Financial Markets.
