Top managers are in great demand now more than ever. Many of higher education establishments train managers, but weak practical training and standard level knowledge do not allow graduates to build their dream career. RBIM trains not just certified managers, but the experts able to work successfully in any sphere where there is a need for managerial decisions.

Starting from the first year of study the students get practical skills due to unique Basic Managerial Competences course. Working in teams, would-be managers comprehend the laws of strategic and creative management. The students have an opportunity to reveal the secrets of success in international business at first hand, to learn international training techniques, to attend European lecturers’ master-classes and undergo practical training abroad – all this due to international programme validated by the University of Wales (UK). This is their ticket to the world business.

Innovation, flexibility, leadership, critical thinking, and intercultural communication, ability to make decisions and work in team - these are the essential qualities necessary for successful career of a manager in the 21st century. Here in RBIM we teach the students to think unconventionally, to find creative solutions, to extend their reach as managers. The programme of management training is organised in the way that helps the student to learn how to apply to practice techniques of quality control on the basis of Lean Production system. Project management is taught in RBIM in line with the programmes of PMI. Mastering of these techniques is a great start for building a career in a wide range of sectors: industry, building, state administration, hospitality, trade, etc.

Having mastered modern recruitment and training technologies, and the art of headhunting the students will acquire unique HR skills. Additional special courses, such as Basic Managerial Competences and Business Planning, Administrative Law create the conditions for professional skills formation.

In the process of business training we not just instruct our students, but pass on interactive technologies which can be used both in work and in everyday life. Through analysis, modelling, and optimization of processes at operating enterprises the students obtain managerial competences while studying at the institute.

Attending the master-classes from foreign lecturers, the students gain priceless experience of foreign management gurus. Practical training abroad will allow the students to explore ins and outs of progressive companies, to learn the experience of international corporations.

In 2012, Russian-British Institute of Management has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Glyndŵr University, Wrexham (UK). Under the terms of this Agreement, the joint programme will have the following advantages:

- profound study of the English language;

- master-classes of foreign professors;

- opportunities:

- to undertake summer courses abroad,

- RBIM students who have successfully accumulated sufficient number of ECTS credits and subject to a suitable entry level of English being satisfied will be considered for direct entry to Glyndŵr University onto Level 5 or 6 of an appropriate Bachelor Honours degree programme;

- graduates of RBIM Bachelor may apply to Glyndŵr University for MSc programmes provided they have an appropriate level of English language and Bachelor Degree with transcript equal to a sufficient number of ECTS credits.
