In recent years Tourism has been developing very fast and successfully all over the world. More and more people have an opportunity to travel within the country as well as abroad. Tourism industry is one of the economic forwards. But one of the most important problems is personnel, especially the lack of European level personnel, as a lot of people have already experienced the advantages of European service.
At RBIM the students will study tourism business in line with Salzburg Tourism Schools programme. It is important that during their training for the future professional career, the students won’t be just obtaining theoretical knowledge, but will also get practical experience working in up-to-date RBIM Training Travel Agency and operating Chelyabinsk travel agencies.
RBIM Tourism students acquire vocational knowledge and skills through taking Basic Managerial Competences and Career Building courses. They will also study English profoundly and learn the basics of German
Along with the state diploma of the Russian Federation the graduates will get certificates of completion of additional courses which are taught in line with the Austrian standards. This will give the students one more competitive advantage. Our graduates can work not only as tourism services specialists, they can also run travel agencies or become consultancy tourism experts. Or they can choose to proceed with their studies and enter RBIM higher education programmes (Management in Tourism Business). RBIM Vocational Education Courses graduates may be enrolled on the 2nd year of the institute programme and continue studying joint educational schemes implemented together with Salzburg Tourism Schools. Existing students also have an opportunity to apply for entry to BA (Hons) in International Management programme validated and awarded by the University of Wales (UK).
Those who will choose the Russian programme will be trained in accordance with the state educational standard of the Russian Federation and get a state recognized diploma of the Russian Federation only. And they will be able to continue studies within the Management field.
Year 1: Introduction to Specialty;
Year 2: Service Activities, Management and Marketing in Tourism, Excursion Activities, Organizing Service in Tourist Complexes;
Year 3: Hospitality Industry, Tourism Organisation, Tour Operators and Travel Agencies, Information Technology in Professional Activities.
Additional courses: Service Organisation, English, German, Professional Etiquette.
